5. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the consumer has a period of fourteen (14) days to exercise their right of withdrawal from a distance contract, without having to provide a reason.

How to Exercise Your Right

The Customer has fourteen (14) days from receipt of their parcel to inform Autoparts Europe of their decision to withdraw, via the website, by post or by email using the withdrawal form provided, or by any other unambiguous statement expressing their wish to withdraw.

If you have exceeded the 14-day deadline, and up to 60 days after your purchase, you may still return the parts subject to a 25% deduction from the invoiced product value. No returns are accepted beyond this period.

The Customer must return the items within a maximum of fourteen (14) days from notifying their decision to withdraw. Returned products must be sent to: Autoparts Europe – 2 allée des Grèbes, 78610 Le Perray-en-Yvelines, France, complete and in their original packaging, in a resaleable condition (in perfect working order, clean, unused, undamaged).

Restrictions

• Original packaging missing or opened: 25% deduction applies
• Parts already fitted or assembled: return refused
• Electrical parts: return refused
• Books removed from packaging: return refused (copyright reasons)
• Items marked "neither returned nor exchanged": return refused (special orders)
• Automotive documentation and Xenon bulbs: return only if blister pack is unopened
• Oils and maintenance products: return refused once opened

Products received by Autoparts Europe that are damaged, broken, worn, or show signs of improper handling or inadequate protective packaging during transport, will be refused and will not qualify for a refund.

The Customer will be informed by email of the rejection of their withdrawal request along with the reasons. Within seven (7) days of receiving this email, the Customer may request to have the refused item returned to them, subject to a shipping contribution of €6.90 incl. VAT via Colissimo.

Refund Conditions

Exercising the right of withdrawal under compliant conditions entitles the Customer to a refund of the invoiced price for the returned items, excluding delivery charges (unless the entire order is returned). Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer.

If the right of withdrawal is exercised within the legal fourteen (14) day period, the refund will be issued within fourteen (14) days of the withdrawal notification, provided Autoparts Europe has received the items or proof of shipment within this period. Refunds are made using the same payment method originally used for the purchase.

If the customer used a discount coupon and the refund amount exceeds the actual payment made, a new coupon for the excess amount will be credited to their "My Account" space.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

In addition to your legal right of withdrawal, Autoparts Europe offers a "satisfaction guaranteed or your money back" policy under the following conditions:

You have fifteen (15) working days from receipt of your parcel to return any product that does not suit you. Return shipping costs are at your expense. Only the price of the purchased product(s) will be refunded. If the parcel is returned unopened, Autoparts Europe will refund both the product price and any shipping charges invoiced.

Return the item at your expense in its original packaging, intact, with all accessories, instructions, and documentation included, in a new outer box. Send your parcel via tracked shipping to: Autoparts Europe – Returns Department – 2 allée des Grèbes, 78610 Le Perray-en-Yvelines – France. Keep your proof of posting and tracking number safe.

If the item is returned incomplete or damaged, Autoparts Europe may refuse the refund or apply a deduction based on the assessment carried out by the After-Sales Department. The refund will be issued no later than thirty (30) days after receipt of the products.

7. Availability

Most products sold on autoparts-europe.eu are held in stock at our suppliers' warehouses. The availability timeframe corresponds to the transit of the product from the supplier's warehouse to that of Autoparts Europe. The delivery time is the availability period plus the carrier transit time. These timeframes begin from the date of payment validation.

Autoparts Europe will fulfil orders subject to available stock. In the event of confirmed unavailability, or if the customer does not accept the resulting delivery timeframe, Autoparts Europe will propose a replacement product which the customer is free to accept or refuse.

If all or part of the order is unavailable and the customer refuses the proposed alternatives, a refund will be issued no later than thirty (30) days from the date of payment. Autoparts Europe shall not be held liable for failure to fulfil the contract in the event of stock shortages, force majeure, disruption to postal services, transport or communications, flood or fire.

8. Delivery

Autoparts Europe undertakes to deliver the ordered goods within a maximum of fifteen (15) days from the date of order. Standard delivery times are 48 to 96 hours via Colissimo under normal conditions, but may extend to 4 to 10 days during promotional periods. These timeframes are indicative only.

In accordance with Article L.216-1 of the French Consumer Code, if you have not received your product within seven (7) days of the scheduled delivery deadline, you may cancel your order by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or via the refund request form, within sixty (60) working days.

Products are delivered to the delivery address specified during the order. The processing time consists of the preparation time (most orders are processed within 48 hours) and the delivery time which depends on the chosen carrier. For items available at different dates, the delivery time is based on the longest timeframe. Autoparts Europe may split deliveries; shipping charges will only be invoiced once.

Any order not dispatched within fifteen (15) days will be cancelled and refunded if payment has been collected.

⚠ IMPORTANT: Goods always travel at the customer's risk, regardless of destination or shipping method. You are required to check the condition of the packaging and products upon delivery. If your parcel is damaged upon delivery, refuse it. Do not sign the delivery note without recording precise reservations.

You must confirm your reservations to the carrier no later than two (2) working days after receipt and forward a copy to: Autoparts Europe – 2 allée des Grèbes, 78610 Le Perray-en-Yvelines – France.

Refused deliveries or deliveries to an incorrect address will require new shipping charges for redelivery. In the event of non-receipt within the indicated timeframes, an investigation is conducted with the carrier and may take several days (e.g. 21 days with La Poste, 15 days with Chronopost). During this period, no refund or reshipment can be made.

Return of Defective or Non-Conforming Products

Autoparts Europe undertakes to refund products that do not match your order (defective or non-conforming). You must submit any claim (by phone, email, or post) on the day of delivery or no later than fifteen (15) working days after delivery, including your contact details, delivery note number, product references, and the reason for your claim.

Returns will only be accepted for complete products in their original, intact packaging, with all accessories and a copy of the purchase invoice enclosed. In such cases, return shipping costs will be refunded.

9. Warranty

All products purchased on autoparts-europe.eu benefit from the legal warranty against hidden defects. For any problem or malfunction, please contact Customer Service at +33 1 61 39 17 97. To benefit from the warranty, it is essential to keep your purchase invoice.

• Electrical parts (regulators, dynamos, starters, distributors, etc.)
• Body panels
• Abnormal or non-compliant use of products
• Defects related to use inconsistent with the product's intended purpose (competition, etc.)
• Defects caused by any external factor
• Special competition parts

Autoparts Europe's liability is limited to the original value of the parts. Autoparts Europe accepts no direct liability for damages resulting from the use of its products, nor for work such as: disassembly and/or installation, diagnostics and assessments, loss of vehicle use, loss of time, or any other consequential expenses.

10. Applicable Law – Disputes

This contract is governed by French law. The language of this contract is French. In the event of a dispute, only the court of Rambouillet (France) shall have jurisdiction.

11. Acceptance

These general terms and conditions of sale govern the contractual relationship between Autoparts Europe and its customers; both parties accept them without reservation. These terms shall prevail over any other conditions contained in any other document, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing by Autoparts Europe.

These terms may be modified at any time without prior notice. They are applicable in Metropolitan France (including Corsica) and throughout the European Union. For deliveries outside the EU, please contact us.

12. Payment Default – Anti-Fraud Controls

Autoparts Europe reserves the right to refuse delivery or to decline any order from a customer who has not fully or partially settled a previous order, or with whom a payment dispute is ongoing. As part of our security procedures, our team may request any necessary documentation to process your order.
